Community Rules & FAQ

Community Rules
These rules apply on the forum, in support tickets, in member messages, and in-game. Breaking them can get you warned, suspended, or banned at staff's discretion — see Enforcement below.
1. Respect Staff and Members
Disagreements happen — keep it civil. Personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, and threats aren't tolerated anywhere on the Site or in-game, no exceptions.
2. No Cheating or Exploiting
No cheats, hacks, scripts, or exploiting bugs for an unfair advantage on the game server. Found a bug? Report it via a support ticket instead of abusing it — we appreciate it.
3. No Spam or Advertising
Don't spam the forum, chat, or messages, and don't advertise other servers or communities without staff permission.
4. Keep Content Appropriate
Our community allows members as young as 13 (see our Terms of Service). Keep language, usernames, and posted content appropriate for a general audience — no explicit, illegal, or gore content.
5. One Account Per Person
Multiple accounts to get around a ban, suspension, or rate limit will get every account involved banned.
6. Follow Staff Instructions
Staff are here to keep things running smoothly. If a moderator or admin asks you to stop something or gives you a direct instruction, follow it — you can always dispute a decision afterward via a support ticket.
Enforcement
Depending on severity, staff can issue a warning, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. Every moderation action is logged. If you think a ban or suspension was a mistake, open a support ticket under Player Reports and a staff member will review it.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get in-game?
Check the homepage for the current server connect details. If nothing's listed yet, keep an eye on our Discord for the announcement.
How do I create an account?
Click Register in the top navigation — you'll need a username, email address, and password. We'll send a verification email; you can still use your account before verifying, but we recommend confirming it so you can recover access if you ever forget your password.
What do VIP / VIP+ / MVP give me?
Each membership tier includes forum perks (a badge and name color), a reserved or priority queue slot, and priority support, with MVP including everything below it plus the top tier of each. Check the Store page for the exact current perks and pricing — they're purchasable with Atomic Coins (our virtual currency) or a one-time real-money payment via PayPal.
What are Atomic Coins?
Atomic Coins are our virtual currency, earned through community participation, that you can spend in the Store on cosmetic items or membership tiers. They only work inside Rust Atomic and can't be cashed out — see our Terms of Service for details.
Can I get a refund on a real-money purchase?
All real-money purchases are final — see section 6 of our Terms of Service. If a payment didn't go through correctly (charged but no perk granted), open a ticket under Store & Billing and we'll fix it.
I didn't get my verification or password-reset email — what do I do?
Check your spam folder first. Still nothing? From Account Settings you can resend the verification email; for a password reset, use "Forgot your password?" on the login screen. If it still doesn't arrive, open a support ticket so staff can check.
Should I turn on two-factor authentication?
Yes, especially if you hold a staff or admin role. You can enable it from Account Settings — it adds a code from an authenticator app on top of your password when logging in.
How do I report another player or appeal a ban?
Open a support ticket under Player Reports with as much detail as you can (who, when, what happened, and any evidence). Ban appeals go through the same place.
How fast will support respond?
We're a volunteer-run community, so response times vary — staff work through tickets roughly in priority and creation order. Marking a ticket urgent when it isn't just slows things down for everyone.
